Reconnect with the Land

There’s something truly special about walking through a working farm — the smell of the soil, the sound of birds, and the sight of vibrant produce growing under the sun.

Sunliz Organics Farm

At Sunliz Organic Farm, we welcome you and your family to experience where your food truly comes from. In a world where food is often disconnected from its source, farm visits offer a unique opportunity to rediscover traceability — to see how your fruits and vegetables are grown, who grows them, and how the land is nurtured without harmful chemicals. This connection builds not only trust, but awareness — helping us make healthier, more conscious food choices for ourselves and our children.

Our seasonal Pick-Your-Own Produce (POP) sessions allow you to harvest fresh vegetables right from the beds and savour fruits straight from the trees — a delightful hands-on experience for all ages. Meet our farmers on guided farm tours and learn about the organic methods we use to regenerate soil, conserve biodiversity, and grow nutrient-rich food. We also host educational workshops, family events, and school visits focused on seed saving, composting, seasonal cooking, and understanding food systems. These experiences are designed to help both adults and children appreciate the importance of knowing where our food comes from, and why that knowledge is essential for shaping healthier habits and more sustainable communities.

Planning Your Visit — What to Know

To enjoy your day at the farm, we recommend:

  • Wearing comfortable clothing, a hat, and sturdy, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on uneven or muddy paths.

  • Bring your own water bottle, sunscreen, and reusable bags or baskets if you plan to harvest produce.

  • Please check our seasonal schedule and book your visit in advance, especially for POP sessions and workshops.
  • Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times; pets are not allowed on the farm.

  • We recommend visiting in the cooler hours of the morning or late afternoon, and booking in advance to ensure availability, especially on POP days and workshop weekends.

  • Photography is welcome — in fact, we encourage you to capture the beauty of the farm! But please be mindful: avoid stepping on growing beds, picking produce without guidance, or disturbing the natural setting. Respect the privacy of farm workers and fellow guests. Please feel free to spread the word on social media, but do request consent of those who are in your images before circulating.

  • Most importantly, come with an open mind and curiosity — and leave with a deeper understanding of food, farming, and the choices that shape our health and the planet’s future.
